Ancestor of the jotnar, Ymir is a primal being who predates the gods and even the realm of Asgard. It is said the first gods crafted the world from Ymir’s flesh. He has largely slumbered since, and the Ymir encountered in Ryven represents only a sliver of this primordial power’s body and mind. His full awakening at the hands of the Primal Powers could end Asgard.
