Story & Lore
These monstrous entities, demonic and ogrish, are among Izumo’s most widespread terrors. Able to crush grown men to a pulp or swallow them in a few quick bites, oni are the stuff of nightmares and fairy tales—and, unfortunately, an ever-growing number of genuine accounts. With the gods distracted by larger affairs, the oni grow ever bolder and more dangerous.
