Story & Lore
Sir Bertilak de Hautdesert was transformed into something more than human by an entity of the faerie courts to test Arthur and his vassals. Gawain eventually passed his trials, but neither that nor the Shattering itself altered the Green Knight’s course. He still considers it his duty to judge the knights of Avalon, and his methods have grown even more lethal.
