Story & Lore
The bauk, canine entities of shadow and hunger, lurk in abandoned buildings, dark holes, and under beds. From there they strike, dragging their victims away to be consumed. They particularly enjoy the flesh of the weak and helpless. Bauk can be held at bay by light, but they have grown less susceptible, braver, and more numerous since the Shattering.
