Story & Lore
Ashigaru are the common foot soldiers of Izumo, a light infantry drawn from among the peasants who work the estates of lords and land-owning samurai. Depending on precisely where they’re from and what training they’ve been given, they range from unruly mobs blindly flailing their weapons, to coordinated units forming the backbone of larger militias.
